How to Watch Belly Dancing

The Mediterranean Hookah Lounge offers professional belly dance performances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and 9:30 PM. Here are some tips to help you enjoy a belly dance performance:

	Don't be afraid to watch! The belly dancers are here to give you a show and work hard to provide you with a professional level of entertainment.
	Enjoy the costuming! Although some of the costumes the dancers wear are store-bought, many are dancer creations and hand-made by the dancers themselves.
	Show your appreciation! Feel free to clap (as long as you stay with the music!) or shout phrases like “Aiwa!” (Arabic for “Yes!”), “Yallah!” (Arabic for “Let's Go!”), or “Oh-pa” (a Turkish exclamation of joy) if you like what the dancer is doing and want to let them know.	Our Weekly Dancers!
